Mojigame Night — HitMoji & Mojino

Last updated: August 30, 2026

The short version. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and we do not ask you for your real name, email address or any other personal detail. Your game progress — scores, chips, stats, the name and avatar you pick — is stored on your own device, not on our servers. We do use a small number of third-party services to show videos, run ads on this website, take payment for the paid unlock, and connect players in online games. Those are each described below.

Information we collect

We do not ask for or store personal information about you. HitMoji and Mojino have no sign-up, no login and no user accounts. We do not run a database of players, and we cannot identify you from your play.

The display name and avatar you choose are just labels for scoreboards. Pick a nickname rather than your full name if you would rather not share it — nothing checks or verifies it.

Information stored on your device only

The games save your progress locally using your device's standard app storage. That includes:

This stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us. Deleting the app, or clearing the site data in your browser, erases it permanently — we hold no copy and cannot restore it.

Playing with friends (online multiplayer)

When you host or join an online game, the game connects through a relay server so the players in your room can see each other's moves. While a game is running, the relay passes along the display name and avatar you chose and your in-game actions and scores — the things other players need to see in order to play with you.

This is used to run the live game and nothing else. We do not use it to build a profile of you. Anyone in the room can see the name you picked, so again, choose a nickname if you prefer. Pass-and-play and solo games do not connect to the internet for multiplayer at all.

Voice input (microphone)

HitMoji lets you speak your answer instead of typing it. This is entirely optional — the microphone is only used while you are actively holding the voice button, and the game is fully playable without ever granting microphone access.

We do not record, store or transmit audio ourselves. The speech-to-text conversion is performed by your device's own operating system — Apple's speech recognition on iOS, Google's on Android, or your browser's on the web — and depending on your device settings and platform, that audio may be processed on your device or sent to Apple or Google for transcription under their privacy policies, not ours. Only the resulting text reaches the game, where it is compared to the answer and then discarded.

Videos

Both games and this website embed clips from YouTube. When a video loads, YouTube receives the request and may set cookies or collect data under Google's privacy policy. We do not control that. Where possible the embeds use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.

Advertising on this website

This website shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and in some regions to personalise them. We do not receive your personal information from this. You can review and change your ad settings at Google My Ad Center, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Analytics

This website uses Vercel Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It reports aggregate figures — page views and general traffic patterns — and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Payments

If you buy the paid unlock, the payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen by, sent to, or stored by us. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, which is what unlocks the content. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. Purchases made inside the iOS or Android apps are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

So the apps can remember what you have unlocked — and restore it if you reinstall or change device — they use RevenueCat. It is given a randomly generated, anonymous ID and a record of the purchase. It is not given your name, email address or anything else that identifies you, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. See its privacy policy.

Who these games are for

HitMoji and Mojino are made for a general adult audience and are not directed to children. Mojino uses casino-style themes — chips, cards, slot machines and roulette — as play only: there is no real-money gambling, no cash prizes, and chips have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out or transferred. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will look into it. (Our separate game Mojiventure is the one made for children, and has its own policy.)

Your choices and deletion

Because we do not hold personal data about you on our servers, there is no account for us to delete and nothing for us to export. If you have a question about your data, please get in touch.

Security

This site and the games are served over HTTPS, and payments are handled by Stripe rather than by us. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the games handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted in the games themselves.
