🎲 The 12 Games on Mojigame Night, and When to Play Each One
A tour of all twelve browser games — bingo, poker, roulette, blackjack, slots, derby, trivia and HitMoji — with the group size, energy level and moment each one suits.
Every game here is free, plays in a browser, and shares the same room system, so the question is never "can we play it" but "which one, right now". The answer depends on three things: how many of you there are, how much energy is left in the room, and whether anyone wants to think. Here is the whole collection sorted by those.
The easy openers
Emoji Bingo. Everyone gets a card, balls are called for the whole room at once, and the first completed line takes the round. Nobody has ever needed bingo explained to them, which is why it is the right first game of any night. Two to eight players. Play it when phones are just coming out and somebody has never used the site before. How it works →
Slots Showdown. A slot machine turned into a fair fight: everyone gets the same ten spins on the same odds, and the biggest total wins. It needs no skill at all. Play it when the group is tired, tipsy, or both, and you want one more round that nobody has to concentrate on. How it works →
Emoji Derby. Back a runner, stake some chips, and the whole room watches one race. The favourite pays double, the long shot pays ten times, and rounds are under a minute. It is the loudest thing in the collection. Play it when you want a burst of shouting between two slower games. How it works →
The table games
Emoji Roulette. One shared European wheel — a single green zero — and every player betting on the same table. When it spins, the whole room settles at once, so there is no waiting for your turn. Bets are the classic ones: single numbers, red or black, odd or even, low or high, and the dozens. Play it when the group is big, because roulette is the most spectator-friendly game here. How it works → · Roulette bets explained →
Emoji Blackjack. The whole table plays against one shared dealer at the same time — hit, stand or double to beat 21 — and the dealer draws to 17. It also works solo. Play it when you want quick, repeatable rounds, or when it is just you. How it works → · Basic strategy in ten minutes →
Emoji Poker. Five-card draw with the fiddly parts removed: ante, hold what you like, draw once, best hand takes the pot. There are no betting rounds, so a hand takes minutes rather than a whole evening. Play it when the group wants something with a little judgement in it. How it works → · Hand rankings and what to hold →
In-Between. Two cards flip, you bet any slice of the pot that the third lands strictly between them, and landing on a post costs double. Rounds take seconds. Play it when you have five minutes to fill and want to watch someone talk themselves into a terrible bet. How it works →
The ones that reward knowing things
HitMoji. The emoji guessing game the rest of the site is built around. Four emojis stand for a real song, film or TV show, and the fewer clues you need before you answer, the more you score. There is a daily puzzle that every player in the world gets on the same day, plus solo, pass-the-phone and online race modes. Play it when everyone is still sharp — it is the game people talk about afterwards. How it works → · Get better at reading the clues →
Guess the Year. A hit is shown, everyone secretly dials in the year it came out, and the closest guess takes the pot. Being roughly right still pays, which makes it far friendlier than straight trivia. Play it when the group spans a few decades. How it works →
Newer or Older? Two hits, one question: did this one come out before or after that one? Everyone races through the same ten songs, and streaks multiply your points. Most people are sure of the decade and wrong about the year. Play it when you want a genuinely comparable score at the end. How it works → · Running a music trivia night →
Country Slots. Half slot machine, half geography quiz: the spin sets your multiplier, and you only collect if you can name the mystery country from its clues. Play it when somebody in the group is insufferable about flags. How it works →
Spin the Wheel. Spin to land on a category — songs, movies, TV or musicals — solve the emoji challenge, and claim the wedge. First to all four wins. It is the closest thing here to a board game, with a proper finish line. Play it when you want one game to fill a whole half hour. How it works →

Two closing notes. First, every chip in every game is play money, so the casino-style games are about bragging rights and nothing else. Second, all twelve share one room system: host, share the code, join. If you learn it once for Bingo, you have learned it for everything. How rooms work →
